tschap Posted February 16, 2011 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Hi all, I used Acronis to image my existing laptop HD to an F180 SSD. The first boot with the F180 succedded, however since then I always get "missing operating system" when trying to boot from the F180. Already used Win7 repair disk with bootrec /fixmbr and /fixboot, no result. When booted from Win7 repair disk I can list all the files on the SSD and diskpart shows all volumes, I just cannot boot from it ! The SSD is correctly shown in the BIOS as 180GB HD, SATA mode is AHCI. Any ideas ? System is a brand new Dell Latitude E6410 with Windows 7 x64.
