Void USB first time set up

Ok so I'm completely new to Corsair equipment. I'm normally used to the just plug in and go stuff so I have no idea what I'm doing :(

 

I've installed the utility engine and my Void USB headset is registering but it's not playing any sound asides from a steam mic check. I can't find any video tutorial on how to set it up so I'm completely lost...

Your headset is probably not set as the default audio device.

 

To do this;

Right click the speaker icon in the notification tray > Playback devices > right click the hheadset and click set as default audio device > ok > Open a audio file and test whether it is working or not.

I have the same issue...computer picks up the headset and it IS set as the default playback device but there is no sound being transmitted from the dongle to the headset. Also the light on the dongle is blinking constantly and is not solid which leads me to believe that they are not paired like the book says they are but can't find anything online to find out how to pair them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
