Corsair 280X RGB air cooling advice

Hi all,

I have a question about air cooling this case.
Is someone has tested this fans configuration ?
2 Fans at the front Intake.
On the top no fans and the tempered glass mounted closed with no gap.
I have read somewhere that this gap on the top prevent th fresh air from intakes fans to reach the cpu and the gpu..
So without gap the air is forced to escape from the back of the case.

So someone has tested this ?
