Sorry if this is a dumb question,
but after trying on and off for a couple of years now, I have never ever managed to get the Corsair SSD Toolbox application to work at updating my SSD drive's firmware. However, my SSD drive is my Windows system drive (C: drive) - given that the SSD Toolbox is a windows desktop application, is it actually even intended to be possible that it can update the Windows C: drive's firmware? I would've thought such a fundamental operation would need to be done with the drive unmounted from Windows. Or is it intended to be possible? |

You should be able to install it regardless of it being the C: drive or not. Something else is wrong if not. I have done it with Mushkin SSDs and Samsung SSDs in the past
