1badbob Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 So i could not resist the black friday deals and purchased a new ssd for my two year old system. Have been reading the forums to see what kind of problems there are, and have held off until now. Spent a little more for the corsair brand because of the better support. I followed the suggestions in the stickies, the ssd came with firmware 1.3.3 and i have had no issues. I don't get the best speeds but that is due to the mb sata2 ports. Still way faster (2x) than the spinning disk it replaced so well worth the upgrade.
