bairre
My motherboard is Asus P5K SE, which is a bit old and doesn't support ACHI. I've already upgraded the bios to the latest version. Tonight I tried to upgrade my F80's firmware to 2.4. I followed all the necessary steps but finally the version remained at 2.1a . I guess the cause of the failure of upgrade is due to ACHI... What could I do? Thank you!!
Toasted
Tried updating your chipset drivers?
bairre
Thank you for the reply. I went to Intel to download the latest driver for the chipset, then I tried to upgrade the firmware to 2.4 once again, but it still remained at 2.1a .. No ideas about that.... bairre
By the way, I really want to upgrade to 2.4 because my computer would suddenly crash down because of the SSD. I think there is something wrong with either F80 or its firmware...
