Default Disconnecting, Audio Distortion and logs

Hello, I bought a new pair of Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless about 2 weeks ago, mind you this is my 2nd one in 4 months. I was originally having the issue of loosing connection to the dongle and getting the "mic off" every time it would reconnect and seeing the light go off on the dongle prob 5-10 times in a 4 hour period. The audio would distort then disconnect. The original pair I purchased back in March, returned them and purchased a new set 2 weeks ago, same issues with the new one.

I went through my time line to see what could have caused this as it worked great for the first 2 months. The only thing that has been added to my desk area is a new vtech 2.4ghz cordless phone which is about 2-3 away from my chair where the headset is and 4-5 feet away from the desktop computer with the dongle. Now looking through this and talking with others I believe its going to end up being the wireless phone causing the issues, wanted to see if others have had the same issues.

But looking through the logs to see if I could find any cause or reason for the disconnecting but I did not see anything but I did find other issues coming up. "Invalid battery status. Cannot set battery status indication, and update headset device with data failed for void pro wireless"

I will attached the log file as well.

Would hope posting logs would help or someone would be able to help with the error messages in the log.

I am having similar issues with mine. I am on my 3rd in about 7 months, the first one lasting about 2 months before it stopped charging, so I thought maybe the charge port broke. I replaced it with another and it lasted almost 4 months until it stopped connecting to the doggle. Now the 3rd I have for just over a month and it periodically will reconnect to the doggle stating "mic on" or "mic off" depending on if the mic is on or off at the time. The sound also cuts out for a sec. As a gamer this is annoying and distracting especially when trying to communicate with friends and teammates. However, I am starting to wonder if it is something with my PC. That's why Im here on the forums.

Specifically to the OP, i don't have other wireless devices besides a wireless mouse. No phone and a wired keyboard. So if it is a wireless conflict issue then in my case it would only be with the mouse but im not sure that would be it. I have moved which USB port the doggle is in and still no change.

Have you had issues with it charging at all? I had mine plugged in all day yesterday and it lasted about 2 hours before it shutoff. I did the same thing with the charge cord, plugging into the wall in 2 different outlets and moving to a USB port to charge directly from the computer. Sometimes it charges and other times it doesn't.

I will keep searching to see if there is any more info before I just give up on this headset but figured id post here and see if we get any answers.

Definitely try moving the home phone, it operates on 2.4GHz as well as the headset and if it's pushing a strong signal or using up multiple channels, it'll be interfering with the headset.

So I moved the cordless phone away, it seems to have cleared it up more then what I had prior. I do still have issues when I am using it and have it connected via usb to the computer there are times you can hear it wanting to disconnect with the audio crackling.

The battery issue I am still having as well, it does not charge past 92% while plugged into a usb on my computer, I have tried both ports on top of my NZXT S340 case and 4 other usb ports on the back of the case. Leave it for about 8hrs come to use it and within 2 hours its needing to be charged again.

Hmmm, if it's constantly reconnecting, that could be taxing the battery. Try soft resetting the headset (hold mute for 20 seconds) and maybe try using the headset in a less crowded wireless environment. If you're battery is still draining rapidly, put in a ticket with support so they can help you further.
