mjic
I bought CX550 (grey letters, not modular) today and my 12V according to bios, Asus suite and Hwinfo is terribly low. It shows 11.892V on idle. During load at one point it went to as low as 11.540. I know that safe ATX standard is between 11.4-12.5 but are those values all right for not OC'd system? Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted January 11, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 11, 2019 Hi mjic we allow for a +/- 5% on the voltage. According to what you provided you are within normal operating specs of your PSU.
mjic
Today hwinfo reported 7.2 as minimum at 12v at some point. I thought it's unrealistic so I stopped using it and later on both Asus and HWmonitor showed 2.3 on +5V. I also saw crazy mb temperature alerts like -106 celsius. I don't think that those sensors are reliable at this point. It's likely PC would shut down if those values were correct.
