760T Clear Side Panel

Hi guys,

 

So i thought i'd try and spice up the clear side panel on my 760T with the corsair logo etched in to it. The design was great but when it came to do it we discovered that the clear part is PVC and not acrylic, resulting in a nice yellow tinge to the etched logo. This didn't go at all how i wanted it to and sourcing a new side panel is a mission.

 

I live in the UK and there are no local stockists, so i figured i'd phone Corsair US and try and source one there. They said they had none in stock and to 'add it to my wishlist' on the online store. I'm not holding out much hope for this though.

 

Any ideas where i could source a spare one from?

We found this out as well when sent over one of the panels to a laser etching service. The best thing to use for our Polycarbonate side panes is CNC milling.

 

I'll see what I can do for a clear side panel, but no promises. For now, I would suggest to "fix" this issue would be to paint the etched out portion in any other color but yellow. My color recommendation would be black.

Talking about parts here, Will Corsair ever make a Graphite Series 760T I/O Panel, Blue LED....

Unless the case was released with a blue backlit I/O panel, Unfortunately no.
