bp7178
My multi meter shot craps. By chance does anyone have a diagram for the 5 wires leading from the SATA connector to the Commander Pro? I want to swap the SATA plug for a PCIE plug so I can directly attach it to my PSU. Thanks.
DevBiker
It's standard SATA. It uses all 3 rails (3.3V, 5V, and 12V). I'm not sure why you are trying to do this but it won't work. PCIe connectors only supply 12V.
bp7178
Sorry if there was a misunderstanding in terminology. I want to use a 6-pin ATX connector in place of the SATA connection. I think in Corsair parlance it's called a peripheral/SATA connection on the PSU.
DevBiker
For the PSU pinouts, this should be what you are looking for: https://www.modders-inc.com/power-supply-pinout-repository/8/
bp7178
My case is a Lian Li o11 Dynamic, and I'm trying to reduce unnecessary wires as much as possible. It seems like a waste to run a SATA cable just for purposes of connecting a Commander Pro and hub. For reference.
