adderdawn Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Hello, I recently purchased an Intel DG45ID mobo, and some "TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX G" ram to go with it. I noticed a warning about only using a 64-bit OS, and was poking around to figure out if I was going to have a issue, and found a bigger problem. The ram is spec'd at 2.1V, and my mobo can only produce 1.8V. Does this basically mean that I need to return the ram and get a set that uses 1.8V? I'm hoping that I can get away with not returning the RAM, but am guessing that's not going to be an option... Thanks in advance for your help! Ad.
