samconran
Hi there, Quick summary: headset not working on PC, works on other PCs. I was playing GTA earlier (on Skype as well) and my sound just cut out completely. I unplugged my headset and plugged it back in and no sound. I got an error message pop up saying something along the lines of 'USB not recognised: device has malfunctioned, etc' — So I went and plugged it into a laptop which installed the driver and worked. I then returned to my PC, plugged it into another USB port and it worked for all of 30 seconds before I hear a little crackle sound and then it cuts out again. I have had this headset for a while now (over a year) and this is the first time something like this has happened. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I think my specs should be somewhere in this post? I've never used this forum before, sorry. Since it did work on another PC, I don't think that it's the headset that is broken. Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be or how to fix it? I'm considering the possibility that it's some sort of issue with the motherboard? Thanks very much in advance, Sam

Toasted
Probably a driver issue. Open Device Manager, are there any driver issues listed for the headset?
samconran
There aren't, no. Strange, since there obviously have been for ages now (since I got the thing).
