Default 460X HDD Space

Where am I supposed to install Seagate Barracuda 3TB 2.5" hard drive?
I tried to put it in behind the backplate where there are 3x 2.5" HDD slots, but it doesn't fit in them.

Default 2.5" SSD in 3.5" HDD Cage: Is an adapter required.

I want to install a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5" SSD into the Corsair Crystal Series 460X RGB case but need to remove the SSD rack to install a Commander Pro. Do I need to purchase an adapter to insert into the slide out rack of the 3.5" HDD cage?
