memory timing settings requested

Please K.I.S. - I'm new at this... Just put together the following rig(below) and am a bit perplexed. My previous rig was an Athlon 1600XP with Epox 8HKA+ and Asus GF3 ti200. Haven't ran any games yet, just apps - Maybe it's me, but the new system almost seems slower than the old one. I would be eternally grateful if anybody could take the time and give me some advice re. BIOS setup(especially memory timings) or anything else that might improve the performance of this system. Right now I'm running it at 5-2-2-2 / 11x166 setting(is this OK?). Did you benchmark your old system against the new one? Do you have the Dimms in the correct slots for dual channel? It would'nt hurt to by a newer HDD, one with a 8mb cache. The only thing I see is that your RAM timings are the LL's spec not the C2's of 2-3-3-6, but that should'nt matter since you're claiming no problems.
