MariaH79
Found how to move the User Data/"temp" folder for Chrome over at overclock.net, thnx to Ezygroove for sharing this:): To create/change the user data directory for Chrome to use, right-click your Chrome desktop shortcut, and go to Properties. You will see a field called "Target:". Append the text '--user-data-dir="C:\tmp\new_profile' to the end of it (eg, "...\chrome.exe" --user-data-dir="") This will tell Chrome what profile Directory to use. If it doesn't exist, Chrome will create it, and if it exists, Chrome will use it. Chrome must be completely closed before editing your shortcut. Mine is now set to E:\Temp\Chrome\User Data Last part of my target line: chrome.exe --user-data-dir="E:\Temp\Chrome\User Data U can copy or cut ur old data and settings from C:\Users\""your computer name""\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data and paste contents to ur new directory Been tryin it for a bit and seems to work great ;): PS: Do not set the folder same as ur current windows temp folder, as it contains userdata and bookmarks.
