Shockjockey
On the corsair link startup page it shows my fan at 0 rpm with red background. I can confirm the fan is working and other programs like hwmonitor show my fan rpm. It is also working in my bios. I have tried a couple different fan headers and have same issue. I have the latest version of link.Pump is also working.
swarfega
On some PSUs and graphics cards, their fans are designed not to start until a certain load is reached like 40%. This is normal behaviour for them. I do find it annoying that Corsair Link doesn't take this into account with these particular products.
Shockjockey
Ok I have another problem now. After booting a couple of times thee pumped stopped working and on reboot I get a message on boot screen cpu overheat. Before I could go into bios my pc shut down and now I cant boot. All I have is one orange light. I have reset everything including reseating cpu and nothing but one orange led. Did this cooler just fry my brand new build? Shockjockey
yep she is fried. I tried plugging h80i into my other pc just to test it and my usb ports stopped working and pump still would not run. So thank you Corsair for ruining my build. I sent the cooler back and rmaed my board. Hoping my cpu is not fried too.
