I've taken a look at the thread called: "Corsair Force Series Firmware 2.0 Update (SATA II DRIVES ONLY)". As far as I know, my drive is SATA II so I thought this would apply to my drive. However I downloaded the file from that thread, and followed the instruction PDF. For both the package and the alternate package, it just says "Firmware for this drive not found in package". So am I doing something wrong? Or is the firmware update for my drive (F115) something different? Or does the F115 not have any firmware updates released yet? Not sure what you meant by trying it in "ACHI mode" though. what version is already on the drive? I don't know, how do you check the current firmware version of a Corsair SSD? what problems do you have with the drive? firmware update is suggested if you have issues with it. No problems. Just consider it usually a good idea, when using new hardware, to get any official updates installed. What kind of things did the firmware update fix?
