scottiescotsman
:!: Hi guys this my frst post so bear with me ok :!: I bought a s128 ssd and tried booting vista 64 bit onto it and wouldnt work, kept giving me errors and blue screen. One of the customers at work said it was the drivers as vista kept failing to install onto the drive as didnt know where it was. He said if i had drivers i can install em at boot and install vista 64 bit to the ssd. But windows 7 64 bit installs first go no problems. What am i doint wrong? And any drivers i need for [vista 64 bit] could u post link to them please thanks in advance
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 11, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 11, 2011 I would try and secure erase the drive then with it as a second HDD on that system you will want to quick format the drive with 4K Allocation then test it with ATTO to be sure its performing properly then just delete the partition and thy the install again but during the install only use the quick format option and see if that will solve that issue and you should not need any driver unless your using Raid or AHCI settings for the controller or a third party IDE controller.
