Sidestream84
I'm having a problem with my network card and the computer locking up. I don't think it's the ram, but ASUS tech support wants me to verify that my ram was tested/approved for my board. I have CMX2700C2 / XMS512 and the ASUS A7V8x. Thanks, CG
CMC_SAVAGE
Tested by who? Being a Asus tech he should have known that RAM was'nt on the QVL for that board. What CPU are you using? Make sure you have the latest BIOS (1013). I don't see any problems using this memory.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 25, 2003 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 25, 2003 Honestly I don’t think we ever sent them this modules to validate. But it should be no problem. I would try the memory with www.memtest86.com and if you have more then one module please test them one at a time with www.memtest86.com and when you install them if more then one try setting the timings to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts and I would use slots 1 and 3 for the memory.
