Darth
Hi! I´m planning to install win7 64 on my p256 as clean install (buy an upgrade from vista ult 64). Whats the best course of action, boot from the upgrade disc and choose format and then install? Just wondering because there been talk here that it is "unheatlhy" to do a full format of a ssd? Dont know if ive got it wrong, but i asume that youre presented with an option to format if you boot from a win7 upgrade disc. Can i choose to full format or just format? Thanks in advance! PCCstudent
I will be watching for a answer to your question. My situation will be a little different,a P128 and a full install of Win7 (not a upgrade from Vista.)
reygjabla
When you're doing a fresh install, Windows 7 takes care of everything. see here http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showpost.php?p=412132&postcount=
GaPony
I just removed the removed the partition from a previous install and let Windows 7 handle it from there. Windows doesn't do a full format when installing, just a quick format.
