Force MP500 Event 11 Error then black screen crash

I've had this issue for about a month and since Corsair has been down every single time I try to apply for an RMA, I'm now outside the warranty.

My issue: I get an Event 11 Stornvme error and then my computer crashes to black. I will post the code below.

"The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort2.

System

- Provider

[ Name] stornvme

- EventID 11

Here's the kicker, I don't have any settings on raid, no raid settings are enabled in my BIOS or OS. I've heard this issue is hardware related but since I can't get a replacement, I've been suffering trying to get work done.

Among other issues, I edit using Adobe Premiere fairly often and that program crashes every time I use it, no matter what version I am using. Also, it runs way too hot, sometimes 80+ degrees.

Any suggestions or help is appreciated!

Aeroliten,

Hello and welcome to the "well designed devices" club.

I have bought MP500 ~8 months ago and I have been experiencing high temperatures and event11 error since then.

As for temp, a PCI-adapter card helped me.

Here's some links of mine:

But as for the error... there is nothing, that can help us.

Corsair, Asus, Intel, Phison or Microsoft don't give a thing about this problem.

All I get is "you need to install *insert-name* driver", like I'm such a dumbass! But do they think, these kind of users even look into the event viewer?

HI guys!

So after a long time....

I have found a driver-updating programm called Snappy driver installer.

And it has offered me to update my stornvme.inf with some kind of AMD driver.

I haven't tried it out yet....but this driver might be a solution for the event 11 error.

Does anyone would like to try it out?
