liamscor
Hi Guys, I have the Corsair 570x Mirror Black Edition, and i'm just wondering how the vertical gpu mount cutout that it comes with works. What sort of hardware do I need?. Do I just need a riser cable, or will I need a bunch of other stuff too. I cant seem to find much information about how it works, and what hardware you need for it, in order to mount your gpu on it. Thanks, Liam
Corsair Employee Greybeard Posted May 7, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 7, 2018 Hey, All you need is a riser cable. The 570X ME has already a PCI-E slot ready for GPU to be mounted vertically. if you look at the back of the case, right next to the standard PCIE expansion slots, there is a cut out made for GPU. RaccoonV2
Is there a way to mount GPU vertical on non Mirror 570x ? Sure the modding of the case would be necessary. I was thinking, that we could cut the mesh out and Corsair could sell us the (for us modified) GPU bracket. We can simply use the screws that are on the pci slots to mount it there. Would be really awesome I think !

Although it would involve cutting out your pcie slots. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06Y2D1JCP/ref=psdc_949408031_t1_B071P862G1 Regards, Liam

Swiggy
Just come across and not sure which Riser cable is best for this There is the straight ones and then there is the ones with a 90 degrees PCIE slot at the end Such as below - https://www.amazon.co.uk/EASYDIY-Express-Flexible-Extension-Card-25cm/dp/B075TFQ923/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1532995129&sr=8-3&keywords=pci%2Briser%2Bcable&th=1 Which one is best for mounting the GPU in the 570x? tiessar
CableMod sell a "no cutting required" vertical GPU mount for only a small cost more than the Coolermaster one.
Corsair Employee Greybeard Posted August 1, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 1, 2018 I think the 90° one will look cleaner in a 570X build
