doesnt_compute
I am currently working on a build in which the case has two 200mm intake fans, one 120mm intake fan, one 140mm exhaust fan and one 200mm exhaust fan that will be replaced with an H100. I plan on purchasing the H100 + Fan Kit for Hydro Series H80/H100 (CW-8960007) for push/pull and the Corsair Link Cooling and Lighting Kit. I need to know which 120mm, 140mm & 200mm Corsair fans will work with the Corsair Link without a doubt. If compatible, I plan on swapping out the original case fans with Corsair fans to make sure the Link system works. I went ahead and made up this list of Corsair fans that are available to purchase online. I couldn’t find any information anywhere about them being 3 pin TAC fans or not. SpDFrek
The current H80/H100 when connected to Corsair Link will work with the original fans supplied and the 2 fan kit (CW-8960007) for full fan control. All other fans will run when connected to Corsair Link, however, at this time they do not adjust RPM or have a very limited adjustment range. I hear that a firmware update is in progress and the adjustment range has been fixed or near fixed. Until it is officially released and the results are known I would suggest holding off purchasing it all together and then finding out that it has side effects. SpDFrek
On another note, my CMXAF2 works just fine with Link. Do not have a CMXAF1 to try out though.

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 7, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 7, 2012 I am sorry but I would not be able to give you better answer that what SpDFre@k has already gave to you: SpDFre@k The current H80/H100 when connected to Corsair Link will work with the original fans supplied and the 2 fan kit (CW-8960007) for full fan control. aferguson
Is the Corsair CMXAF1 Memory Fan compatible with the Link? I have the original Airflow fan, which came with my DDR2 Dominator memory, TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF. I wasn't sure if this was the fan you were referring to, but I plugged it in to test for you, and the Link had no trouble controlling it. I am running Corsair Link 1.2.7, with 1.2.5 on the cooling node.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 12, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 12, 2012 I would suggest using the MB header for the memory controller but I do think it will work well with our LINK controller. I will ask the Product manager if they have any testing results with this cooler. Edit:I just tested an CMXAF1 on my Corsair Link and it is not detected by the Link controller. Sorry!
