Hey all,

I just built this rig over the weekend

I have followed all of the guides Tips and Tweaks etc, on this forum pre installation and post installation of the operating system. The OS is installed on the SSD and everything else is on the larger drives.

Today alone I have already gotten two BSOD for no reason. Keep in mind nothing is over clocked in the slighest. Everything is still running at stock speeds and voltages. Here are the reports

Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

Both of these BSOD's happen when I was installing a game, the first I was installing Crysis Warhead and the second was Startcraft 2. Not sure if thats relavent or not.

I have read about people having problems with the F-120, but I am not sure why that would cause a blue screen while I was installing games to the WD 1 TB drive.

Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated

Thank you,

Filthy~

Could you please before more specific?

Is it not ok to install the OS on the SSD?

Or do you mean there is something wrong with my WD Drive?

I have also run memtest on the ram with no errors and this is not making any sense, I either freeze while installing or BSOD.

Does this have anything to so with ACHI being enabled in the Bios?

Or possibly a bad hard drive?

Thanks~

Ok, have testing all night I have discovered my problem and it is not the SSD

After running multiple sessions of memtest and still coming up with no errors I decided to do a stability test with Prime 95.

As soon as I started Prime I either froze or BSOD, I checked all my voltages and they seemed to be very low. I went into the Bios and disabled the XMP profile and let the ram go back to the defualt speeds and voltagesthe board is set to. This cured my problem , so what has happened is the board is not adjusting the voltages for the CPU apon the ram being entered into XMP mode. I typically leave everything set at default when building a new rig and this was the only change I made in the bios.....

Hope I don't have any more issues

Thanks all
