jaydoyle93
Hey, So my HS50 just arrived brand new, ive connected the mic correctly and my laptop (Predator 300) doesn't require the Y cable. The laptop isn't showing the mic at all on the recording tab within sounds. Any ideas? Thanks, Jamie
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted July 11, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 11, 2018 If you have it connected as analog, you may only see the microphone listing for the onboard sound card used for your laptop. Do you see that as an output?
jaydoyle93
i see Michrophone Array - Realtek High Definition Audio, then i see stereo mix and that is all. When i check properties of michrophone array it says "jack info - digital jack"

Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted July 17, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 17, 2018 You should have an input for microphone itself, if it isn't there, you may not have the driver installed correctly for your audio.
tmborland
That being said, what are the next troubleshooting steps?
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted July 26, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 26, 2018 If you don't have the proper audio drivers installed for your sound device, you'll need to contact the manufacturer for the driver.
