psychobolt
(Issue RESOLVED) Hi, just bought the Void RGB Wireless and I am having issues with configuring the device. On start there is green light, so I assume it is fully charge. Rainbow lights turn off and noise beep after 10 sec pairing. There is no lights on the side of the headphones. I can hear sound and speak through mic. Mute button doesn't work. There are no mic lights on. I have initial drivers installed and CUE 1.11.85. No firmware update because I can't see the device settings. Toasted
CUE does not detect the headset which is why the lighting effects are not running. Reinstall CUE and see if that helps. Also try deleting the files located in %Appdata%\Corsair to "reset" CUE.
psychobolt
I tried reinstalling CUE with restart, same issues. No headset settings in CUE. I haven't tried the older versions yet, maybe its worth a shot.
psychobolt
I tried installing old CUE version, but that didn't fix the issue. So next, I tried the headset on my macbook pro. Everything worked on it, mute and the lights. There is no CUE support on OSX though... After a few pc restarts, I am beginning to see something interesting: I. Bad state (lights and mute doesn't work in most cases) II .Here is how I got lights and mute working (at most 2 times): 1. Detach dongle from pc and power on headset 2. Restart pc. 3. Do not plug in dongle until after logging in from screen. (I made sure Corsair link and CUE starts up before this step) III. CUE Device settings is still broke. :( IV. Do not fiddle around with headset or I am back to the bad state in I. That means restarting headset and pressing cue control...
ScarredMecha
What does the headset show up as in the device manager?
psychobolt
It shows up under "Sound, video, and game controllers" as "Corsair Void RGB Wireless Gaming Headset". The driver version is 2.0.31.0.
ScarredMecha
You could try putting it into bootloader mode, which should allow you to update/reflash the firmware, then re-pair the headset and the dongle. Here's a thread that might help: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=152196
psychobolt
OMG, I finally got it working!! I have no idea what I did. First I uninstalled one of my unused wireless mouse Razer HID driver. I then tried the boot loader method a few times to no avail. I then restarted my PC and switched USB ports for the dongle, which didn't do anything. After switching back to the old USB port, it worked! LOL. I think I shouldn't mess with the firmware version now...
