Can You tell me the difference between the default cables and the braided? The defaults look nice, as far as I can see from the pics, they all black throughout
and look sleeved. I can't imagine one could tell one from the other in a windowed case. So what is the advantage?

Although it is somewhat difficult to tell due to the angle of available photographs, it would appear that the fan grill of the AX1200i rises somewhat above the surface of the unit (vs being recessed or flush); is this unit therefore not compatible with a bottom mounting (PSU at bottom of case with fanside down)?

And I am sorry don't know when the Braided cables will be available but I suspect it wont be much longer.
