rogerwroten
I just bought a Corsair H60 cooling system. I have an AMD Phenom II X4 920 Processor on a Gigabyte motherboard with a AM2+ (940) socket. The parts that came with the H60 cooling system will not work. (Unable to secure it to the motherboard with what came with it) What is my best option? Is there a Corsair cooling system that will work with my set up? Or is there a way to make the one I have work? Thanks Roger
Toasted
The H60 should work fine with the motherboard. Is it a problem with the "hook" or the stock backplate? This may help. (12:52) [ame] [/ame]
rogerwroten
Thanks for the video... But... The problem I am having is that I do not have the plastic pieces that are shown on the motherboard. So am I able to buy those? Here is a pic of how my cooling system is now mounted... The area circled is the same on the other side and they are attached to the cooling system. The holes in the motherboard are the only holee to attach anything. (That make sense?) Toasted
Your motherboard is not an OEM board, its retail with the stock bracket removed for the after market air cooler. The link red-ray posted should work fine with your motherboard. But i'd suggest you go search for the bracket somewhat closer to your location. Here's what its suppose to look like by default.http://www.gigabyte.com/fileupload/product/2/3038/1122_m.jpg
