jpdsc Posted June 14, 2019 Share Posted June 14, 2019 Hi all, Since iCUE v3.16.56 the performance option on the Commander PRO does not work properly. If I select quiet, in the past it was around 800 RPM. However, now it stays between 1200 > 1400 RPM which is really annoying. Is this a known bug? Thanks. c-attack Posted June 14, 2019 Share Posted June 14, 2019 The Commander Pro presets work off CPU Temperature, the one and only thing every system is guaranteed to have. There really is no hanging around "this speed" and CPU temperature and it is going to move all over the place. The most likely explanation is your CPU is doing something. The first sound I hear on creating a new profile in iCE is my 9 fans taking off as they switch from my settings to "Quiet Mode". There really is no reason to use the presets on the C-Pro. You can pick anything your motherboard can read from the drop down list. The temp probes are the native control source and work with or without iCUE running. Those can be used for exhaust temps, case temps, water temps in custom loops, or anything else. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
