Rickjamesyeies
So I have recently been having some issues with the Corsair Scimitar RBG Yellow Pro for a few days now, its been fine for the most part and there is a few moments when it kind of stutters and seems like its acting on its own, is there a way to resolve this? Corsair Employee Greybeard Posted June 22, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 22, 2017 Try a different USB port and see if it behaves the same. I would also try re-flashing the SCIMITAR's FW and see if that makes a difference. How frequent does it happen?
Rickjamesyeies
It only recently started, so far it has happened probably around 10 times today probably more though, its pretty subtle, I have also swapped the USB port a few times to see if it was actually a USB issue or something with the mouse and/or the CUE program and it seems to not be a USB issue that I can tell so far. Ive also read a few older forum posts about the poll rate and LEDs causing issues, so I have turned the LEDs off for now to see if it fixes to problem, and dropped the poll rate down to 500Hz / 2 msec. I can't say I am noticing it as often, but I am pretty sure its still occuring. EDIT1: seems like it only has the problem while I am playing games. EDIT2: Seems like the mouse is pretty ignorant at times at what surface it is used on, appears that this mousepad I have isnt cooperating with it that well. Rickjamesyeies
So yeah seems like this mouse is pretty discriminant against specific texture surfaces, it seems like if there is a portion of not being 100% smooth it derps out.
