Question asus rampage extreme vi & cmr16gx4m2f4000c19


Does anyone know if the asus rampage extreme vi motherboard is 100% compatible with vengeance cmr16gx4m2f4000c19 ram?

Try looking at Asus's QVL for that board, I'd be a little touchy about recommending such a high frequency kit right off the bat if they haven't tested it with the motherboard.

CMR16GX4M2F4000C19 is a 2x8GB kit, so it is dual channel kit and for X299 that implies use with Kaby Lake-X processors. Your QVL should state which entries are valid for Skylake-X or Kaby Lake-X.
