Runlinux
Hello! I was wonder if it would be possible to get 2 more 6 pin PCIE cables for my unit? Mine came with 2 - 6+2pin, 2 - 8pin, and 2 - 6pin. Right now, to power my 3 9800GTX's (2 pins each, need total of 6), i am borrowing 2 6pin cables from my 620HX - its a tight fit and crooked fit into the PSU, but they work. Let me know what can be done!
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 9, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 9, 2008 Remove the cables from the HX620 right away, you do not want to use these in your HX1000. Please send an email to ramguy@corsairmemory.com with your name, address and phone number along with a request for some extra cables and make sure you specify that you need cables for the HX1000. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 10, 2008 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 10, 2008 No problem at all! The cables are not designed to be interchangeable between the HX520/620 and the HX1000 so just to be on the safe side, its a good idea to leave out a video card until we can get you the proper connectors.
