TemplarVN
Good Day, I cannot understand how is it possible the write speeds to be so different for the following two models of flash drives which visually look same and have almost same part numbers . The difference is A and B before the size marking in the part number. 1) CMFVYGT3A-32GB http://www.corsair.com/en-us/flash-voyager-gt-usb-3-0-32gb-usb-flash-drive Sequential Read Write 190 MB/s read / 40 MB/s write (USB 3.0) 2) CMFVYGT3B-32GB http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/flash-voyager-gt-usb-3-0-32gb-flash-drive Write Speed 100 MB/s Read Speed 240 MB/s How is it possible the first model to write at 40 and the second with 100 MB/sec. So big difference? The read speeds are different as well , but no so much. I have already ordered the slower CMFVYGT3A-32GB from a local computer shop and I am wondering if I have done a mistake ? And prices are nearly the same. Please any help? Are the memory ICs used in this two models so much different in speed? Thank you in advance
Toasted
It will be best to put in a support ticket with Corsair and ask for a confirmation on the specs. http://support.corsair.com/
