For most builds, they're plenty long, but I think the Cosmos II case is larger than some cars, and the cables that came with the CX550M supply aren't long enough to get to the ZIP Code where the drive bays are. It's been a while since I did a raw build from parts. Back then, parts just had numbers, rather than names and fan clubs. :D: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mrgooden Posted December 7, 2018 Share Posted December 7, 2018 You can either get longer custom cables or you can also purchase extension cables for just the ones you need lengthened. Either way is fine and both add some class to the viewable portion of your build. In the end if the day, it all depends on budget. I purchased a custom set of mod-one cables myself, though, it can be very costly. They or cablemod would be recommended, both make extension cables as well and have excellent customer service.
