TimAnn Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 Hi there, Have I done something wrong in buying this memory to go into an Asus Rampage II Extreme? Because currently without any adjustments my boot post shows I only have 4 GB of ram as does Windows 7 64 bit but CPU-Z shows that I have 6 GB of RAM running at 2296 MHz but I have not altered the BIOS settings at all. Firstly is it possible to tell me if this memory is suitable for the Rampage II and would it be suitable for the newer Rampage III. Secondly I have found this thread here and wonder should I use those settings for my setup but I'm using an i7 940 revision C0/C1 http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=83499&highlight=CMG6GX3M3A2000C8 Sorry to ask so much but I would like to know that I do have 6 GB of RAM working properly with my current MB.
