HX1000i - I think my 12v cable came with the wrong plug - does not fit PSU side
Hi everyone
I just got a HX1000i but am having trouble with the EPS/ATX12v 8 pin (4+4) cable. My motherboard takes two 12v inputs, one 8-pin and the other 4-pin. No issues with the 8pin. On the 4 pin, I split it in two and connected it to the motheboard. However, on the PSU side, the plug does not fit ANY of the connectors. And it says "CPU" too, just like on the other side. I have the impression this cable has the wrong plug, CPU on both sides. Anyone can confirm? Please see photos here: https://imgur.com/a/awnECgc Last edited by Spiff1; 01-19-2019 at 02:02 PM.

Oooh ... that doesn't sound right. I would contact support - they should be able to get you the correct cable.
