::pirate::This will also be posted in the sticky, but I spent a good few hours on this so ill put it up here too.

I have some new profiles for you guys!!

I designed a scanning effect and use it heavily in these some of these are more advanced than others.

Keep in mind the colors in the videos are WAY DULL everything is super bright in person

note.. I would have uploaded these as an attachment. but your forum does not support .mode yet. only .prf

NYAN Keys

Was gonna call this Unicorn Poop But NYAN fits it better

Its basically a Flashlight Rainbow That scans along an axis on the keyboard.

When you type the Powers of NYAN come to life. Shooting Pink Streamers out of your fingers and Remaining white for a time.

The River

This one Features a perpetual type motion scroll from left to right.

It Gradates from Pink To Bright Orange. The key feature is when you type the mode remembers it forever. so you are constantly filling up the river. Until eventually (as seen in the video) you fill up rows. I added a feature so that once this happens when you type the keys go dark instead of lighting up so that even when "the river" is full you can see reactive typing; also seen in video :D

DOPPLER

This is the most advanced mode by far!

This one Takes advantage of the scanning effect to form a Doppler radar beam complete with umbra and penumbra (approximate) that constantly scans your keyboard for the "weather" you create with your fingers. So It took me a while to try and figure out how to make it so that the weather that your fingers lay down over time actually BLOCKS the Doppler beam temporarily. (or at least appears to(see video when theres lots of active type the radar effect fades on the typing side of the keyboard and continues to scan the other side) Lots going on behind the scenes here.

Wavelength

This one features multipule waves that cascade across the board from all different angles all with offset cadence. When you type it lays down a spectrum of all colors in each key (rainbow) so if you type fast you can lay a rainbow down in a row yourself (seen in video)

KNIGHT RIDER

This one Kinda speaks for itself. Knight Rider Scanning beam with umbra and penumbra, and reactive futuristic typing white flicker with inverse square falloff(accelerates)

What he said :) *.prf files can be attached to posts.

This is CORSAIR. We're PIRATES. We have CANNONS :)

Sorry didn't mean to be rude.

PRFs come with a ton of uneccessary info if im only trying to distribute a single layout.

Plus that brings problems to people trying to import all of the lighting modes to one profile as I assume most will use.

I know that .prf files are accepted I just didn't see the need to separate all of the lighting modes to different profiles etc. Sorry :(

Ill do so in the future :D

On the contrary, you weren't rude at all. It was a perfectly valid question.

BTW - That zippyshare has pop ups saying software I don't even have is out of date.

Autovfx, can you please explain in detail how to import the .mode file. The .prf is easy i have no idea how to get you .mode stuff to work.

When you create a profile, under the default mode there's a + and an arrow, click the arrow then go to the mode file you downloaded and select that :)
