Hi,

My pair of Corsair 8 GB DDR3L RAM (2 x 4 GB) has the SPD of both DIMMs corrupted.

These are the images from CPU-Z:

So, I'm intending to RMA it. But first, I want to ask you if there is a way to repair it by myself (without voiding the warranty).

Thanks!

that ram is supposed to run at 2t, yours runs at 1t which of course is faster so if you dont have any issues with performance, ignore the SPD. you may not get a pair back that runs as nice.

I think that's because of the corrupted SPD. If I test the RAM in memtest86/memtest86+ or Windows Memory Diagnostic it reports some errors (3-4 in memtest86).

And, as you can see in the screens from above the SPD info is corrupted. This is my conclusion, though I'm not a RAM expert.

Neither CPU-Z, nor Aida64 or memtest read the SPD info correctly.
