When I got an e-mail for a Corsair Spring Break Sale (3 days only), I got genuinely excited. I love Corsair's products, and I've been wanting to make a full Corsair rig. But when I looked at the deals themselves (which you can view
here, if you didn't get the e-mail), I was very disappointed to see that they're not new deals at all! Half of them are just the current
Weekly Deals, and the other half are
refurbished items listed at the same prices they always are! What gives, Corsair? Why are you disguising your normal prices under a banner of being 'on sale?'
I honestly wouldn't have a problem with this if it was just a reminder to check the rotating Weekly Deals or the ever-changing selection of Certified Refurbished products. Heck, I check in on both a couple times a week. But why act like this is a limited-time deal when in all likelihood, these products could have these prices for the next several weeks?
If anyone has any input on this, whether you think it's reasonable or unusual, please let me know. I, for one, would love to see an actual sale beyond the usual deal or refurbished price.
