Zoltane
I hear high pitch chirping while I'm rotating the 3D view in Modo, a 3D modeling application. If the viewport doesn't change then there is no buzzing. It is less loud than the pump but still somewhat distracting. Corsair Employee Corsair StormShadow Posted March 16, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 16, 2018 Can you attach a screenshot of the performance tab under Task Manager when this noise is happening? Do you have Corsair Link running?
SouthseaCaptain
Most probably it's coil whine from GPU.

Zoltane
I can't immediately explain why a 332 polygon untextured mesh is causing this much of a load on the GPU... Anyway, Corsair Link is running. Is there anything I can do about this coil whine?

Zoltane
Thanks, I limited the viewport refresh rate to 60 Hz which I think helped a bit but it's still clearly audible. What is Corsair's stance on coil whine?
