hybride11
hello i ve 2 old corsair gt ( CMFVYGT3S32GB ) and just after trying to write a new msdos table( with gparted ) , the usb flash drive wasnt available , = im not able to write any more . not able to mount it , i can just read some feature when i use : i) fdisk -l ( Disque /dev/sdh*: 29,9 GiB, 32054968320*octets, 62607360*secteurs Unités*: secteur de 1 × 512 = 512*octets Taille de secteur (logique / physique)*: 512*octets / 512*octets taille d'E/S (minimale / optimale)*: 512*octets / 512*octets ) , ii) or some smartctl - a -d /dev/sdh ( device is not in smartctl database ) . iii) i can see the usb flash drive when i use lsusb ( Bus 003 Device 003: ID 1b1c:1a01 Corsair Flash Voyager GT ) So cause those two usb flash drive corsair gt are old ( > 5 year ) i can't use warranty , so i just need a reasonable technical explanation why a simple opération which work on every hard drive or every ssd ,not only dont work with corsair usb gt , but also brick usb flash drive . And of course if somebody i ve a solution to recovering those usb flash drive ... thank you .
