Astral85
CUE on my machine is closing itself with no indication of a crash. When I open the app draw and hover over the CUE icon it disappears and the app closes. Sometimes it's icon is showing as the CL4 icon instead (screenshot below.) Astral85
It seems CUE and CLink have been crashing regularly.
Toasted
Open Event Viewer and see whether you can find and entries related to CUE under Windows Logs/Applications.
Astral85
Yes, two instances of Event ID 1000. One appearing to be caused by EVGA Precision X software and the other by d3dx10_43.dll CorsairLink4.exe is also affected by d3dx10_43.dll
Toasted
Add CUE to PrecisionX's OSD exclusion list and see whether that stops the crashing. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=168713 As for the d3dx10_43.dll error, have youy tried updating the modules via the web installer? Latest GPU drivers?
Astral85
I've added CUE.exe to Precision X server exclusion list so will monitor event viewer on that one. Precision X software is very buggy though, sometimes the server app will just disappear while PX is open, the same for the OSD, it's hit and miss as to when it works. I'm a couple of drivers behind the latest so probably time to update. What are the modules via the web installer?
Toasted
You can find that below. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=
Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted July 25, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 25, 2017 Precision X has been known to cause problems with our software. Unless its necessary, I'd keep it closed (and ensure you always update). I would fix the problem but it isn't related to CUE.
GingerSnaps
I'm having this exact same issue on the current version 3.4.95. I have multiple failures in Event Viewer before the app finally closes itself.
