Newnoise
Headset delivered on March 4th, 2017. Used it for a day. It worked great while I watched some streamers and some youtube videos. The second day I decided to play a bit of Rust. The sound quality was great. I then opened up Discord and was chatting with a couple of teammates, while playing Rust. As I went to adjust their volumes in Discord, the volume of Rust nearly went away all together. I had to crank up the volume of my headset to 100 to barely hear my character's own footsteps. I have since tried all kinds of volume adjusting within all of the programs. Trying to emulate what I had done when the volume changed on Rust. I could not reverse the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled my headset's connection to my PC. I've done all that I know to do. Anyone have any suggestions?
Toasted
Check the Volume sliders under Volume Mixer if Rust is the only affected application. Right Click the speaker icon > Volume Mixer. Note: Make sure Rust is running in the background.
