schlauchius
Administrators Technobeard Posted November 13, 2012 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2012 Ram Guy's said it best: The Part that is made for apple has been qualified for Apple has a restricted BOM (BILL Of Materials) so there are fewer combinations that can be used and are all tested and qualified at Apple. Apple systems using the Intel architecture are basically the same as a Windows based Channel system but there are some differences in design that may prevent them from working with any memory module design or configuration on the market. I would strongly suggest to anyone who has an apple to purchase the Apple qualified part.
