Corsair Link 4 - Request to adjust hardware refresh interval globally

As the title states, can we get an option to globally adjust the polling period for the software? I know there is a refresh interval setting for the graphing tab but I see no way to adjust it globally as it appears on the home screen. I feel that CL software can cause some heavy CPU intensive games to drop frames and I suspect it is due to this refresh interval. I have all graphing disabled which makes no difference however if I close CL I get no more frame dips. Just a suggestion as I'm sure some users would appreciate being able to adjust it. And possibly an option to choose which parameters you want to monitor on the home screen. That would be great as well. Thanks.
