ccjcc81
Guys, I just got a Void Wireless 7.1, and I installed the CUE software. The CUE software won't detect the headset; I get an error that says "no device detected, please connect a device." The headset works fine, haven't tried the mic. The headset dongle shows up in device manager as Corsair Void Wireless Gaming Dongle. However, upon closer inspection, it appears that the dongle is using a Microsoft driver. I tried to update the driver to the ones available in the CUE folders, but when I try, Windows tells me "Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed." Is there any way to get that Microsoft driver out of there and install the Corsair drivers? Thanks.
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted April 12, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 12, 2018 What happens if you try uninstalling the driver for the headset, unplug and replug the dongle, and let it reinstall the drivers? Also, have you tried connecting to different USB ports on the motherboard?
ccjcc81
I will try both of those things and get back with you. I tried uninstalling the driver, but I didn't take the dongle out.
ccjcc81
Didn't work. Any other suggestions? I see in other threads that removing the Microsoft driver, and replacing it with Corsair's is key, but Window's won't let me! Any way around that?
