Default Voyager 16 GB USB3 only formats to 8 GB

I bought a Corsair Voyager 16GB USB3 flash drive last weekend at a local retailer, with a MIR. I used it for a couple days without really looking at the capacity and tonight, I tried to format it and I could only format it to 6.92 GB for FAT32 or NTFS.

The model is CMFVY3S-16GB.

Is there something wrong or am I formatting it incorrectly some how?

I would try zeroing the USB. If that did not work, Download Parted magic, Boot to it from a separate USB and run Erase Disk.

Or try the SD Card dot Org format utility if that does not resolve it please use the link on the left and request an RMA and we can replace it.

Using GParted to deleted all the partitions and then reformat with an NTFS partition worked.

Thanks!
