Default CM2X1024-6400C4 - One DIMM Dead - Request RMA

Ramguy:

Specs:

Motherboard: Asus P5Q Pro
Memory: CM2X1024-6400C4

Slot 1: Stick#1: 2673056
Slot 3: Stick#2: 2673057

Batch#: 08431385

Machine no longer posts with Stick#1 installed. Tried all available slots on the board. Posts fine with Stick #2. Clearly one stick is dead (Stick #1). Please advice on RMA steps.

Thanks

Just use the link on the left side of the forums to get your RMA started. Thats all you need to do. :)

Just would like to add that I'm with 2 of these exact model, sometimes system doesn't startup, freezes, reboots, etc.

I will try the RMA too.

I would test the modules one at a time if its one of the modules then it will show when that module is installed, but if you get the same results with either module when testing them one up I would check the CPU and MB.
