Angry No Sound!?

I've just had to rebuild my windows 7 AM2 machine after screwing up a dual boot setup. I've installed all the drivers and everything, but the audio isn't working! My speakers are fine playing music from my iPod using the same cable. Also it's not the ac97 connector from the case loose, I plugged it in to the rear audio port and still no sound. I've used the motherboard manufacturer's drivers and ac97 drivers I picked up off cnet that I was using before. Also, the audio was working absolutely fine before the rebuild. The motherboard is a FoxConn 6150M2MA. Help!

Are your speakers plugged in to the green ringed audio connector?
