I need your help with the same issue.
I use a corsair survivor 32GB and I want to have multiple partitions under widows. I have tried the lexar bootit tool and the HP format tool but it didn't work for me, both tools.

please let me know how to remove the removable bit from the stick to create multiple partitons on it under windows.

Please help me in this matter.

Thanks for your help.

there is no software to do this on survivor 32gb drives.

trust me, ive looked.

the limitation of only seeing one partition is because of winxp seeing the drive as removable and not a fixed disk.

now there is a way of installing a special "rmb filter" driver that allows your xp machine to see two logical partitions, buts its not supported and only works on the computer you install the driver on. meaning you can see two partitions on your computer, but if you take it to your friends, hell only see one.

because of that limitation, i never tested the driver.

Windows does not support partitioning a removable drive as I stated on your other post, this is a Microsoft Limitation.

If there is no easy way to remove it, I woul like to go the other way to gbet it removed.;-)

I've seen in another thread that the bit, can be remove and its very unusual if I cannot be removed. If it canmnot be removed there seems to be something wrong with the stcik.

Please let me know how to remove thhe remoavle bit.

Thank you.

You cannot remove the BIT you are talking about and I am sorry there is no utility that I can give you to do this and if you do find a way to do that it will VOID the warranty of the drive.

They cannot tell you how to void your warranty.
